OPEN CALL FOR PAID FILM EXTRAS — Gold Mountain, directed by Ang Lee WHEN: Sunday, April 26th, 11 AM – 6 PM (no appointment needed, show up during scheduled hours) WHERE: Coloma Community Center, 4623 T Street, Sacramento SHOOT DATES: May 18 through June 5, 2026, in and around the Sacramento area. Gold Mountain is a period feature film about the Gold Rush. Seeking people to be paid extras. FACES IN THE FILM: Townspeople, kids, railroad workers, male horseback riders, blacksmiths, butchers, wagon drivers, coal miners. Caucasian, Chinese, Californios, Indios, Miwok. ROLES: — Youth Roles (ages 9–14): Caucasian — Adult Roles (ages 18–55): Caucasian, Californios, Latino, Miwok, Chinese REQUIREMENTS: No easily visible tattoos, dyed hair, or facial piercings that would take away from the historical look.
